Express Calibration Services specializes in the calibration of precision measurement and test equipment of various types. We are currently seeking a passionate, enthusiastic Customer Service team member to be based at our Kansas City, Lee’s Summit, MO facility. Job Summary: The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The CSR is often the first point of contact for customers and serves as a liaison between the customer and the company and is essential for maintaining positive customer relationships and contributing to a company's reputation. They play a crucial role in ensuring customer loyalty and driving business success through exceptional customer service.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of experience in customer service.
Detail focused and oriented.
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new software.
Familiarity with customer service software, CRM systems, and office software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Ability to complete tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
Ability to lift 30 Lbs. unassisted.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person.
Assist customers with service quotes, repair estimates, job status, parts, and shipments.
Process received/completed service work.
Communicate effectively and professionally with customers.
Provide information about products, services, policies, and procedures.
Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved and their needs are met.
Document customer orders, interactions, inquiries, and resolutions accurately in the company's database or CRM system.
Determine appropriate solutions and take necessary actions to resolve issues.
Collaborate with other departments or teams to address complex customer problems.
