Locations: Must be willing to travel between Kingston, NY and Poughkeepsie, NY Are you a people-person who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Do you enjoy helping others, keeping things organized, and juggling multiple tasks like a pro? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Customer Service Specialist role! What You’ll Be Doing: In this role, you’ll be the friendly face and voice of our community counseling center. Your day will be varied, exciting, and impactful! Responsibilities include: Helping clients: Registering new clients, verifying insurance, collecting co-pays, and scheduling appointments. Answering calls & emails: Directing calls, taking messages, and keeping everyone in the loop. Keeping records in order: Scanning, filing, archiving, and managing electronic healthcare records. Supporting your team: Completing other duties as needed to keep our center running smoothly. Who You Are: We’re looking for someone who is: Experienced: At least 1 year in a clerical support role. Tech-savvy: Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and electronic health records. Organized & proactive: Excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking skills. Multilingual: Bilingual in English & Spanish? That’s a big plus! Flexible: Ready and willing to travel between Kingston and Poughkeepsie. Daily Tasks You’ll Rock: Answering calls and emails Faxing and mail processing Collecting co-pays Scheduling appointments Registering new clients Extra Support You’ll Provide: Assist with additional assignments as needed – because teamwork makes the dream work! Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED required.
