About The Position

Essential Functions Receive Customer Orders via EDI, Email, and Customer Portal. Prepare daily shipping documents and labels for customer shipments. Take the shipping document cart to the shipping department twice per day. Create shippers in Infor system. Receive driver’s check sheets from shipping member and send Advanced Shipping Notice to customers. Analyze orders vs. shipments and assist accounting in monthly reconciliation. Order shipping supplies such as label stock and colored paper for pallet markers. Assist with monthly data cleanup and reporting. All other duties as assigned. Additional Functions Participate in annual Kaizen (cost savings/improvement) planning for COM team. Meet department KPI (key performance indicators) and metric standards Other duties/ tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

  • Proven experience and/ or knowledge of order management or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of order management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and order management software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability prioritizes tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 - year experience in Manufacturing and /or Order Management experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory experience a plus.
