About The Position

As a Customer Service Specialist II at GDIT, you will make meaningful contributions to critical outcomes for a Federal grantmaking agency. This role involves providing crucial technical assistance to agency staff, contractors, grant applicants, and awardees, specifically supporting the agency's grants management systems. The position is designed for individuals who can bring customer service expertise and a drive for innovation to support complex government, defense, and intelligence projects.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED
  • Experience: 1+ years of related experience
  • Technical skills: Familiarity with common ticketing and service desk applications, such as Jira and ServiceNow, as well as Microsoft Office, Sharepoint and Teams
  • Security clearance level: NACI
  • US citizenship required
  • Must be able to work from Fort Detrick in Frederick, Maryland

Responsibilities

  • Support users with technical issues and questions
  • Collaborate with IT team to research problems and recommend changes to the user interface and underlying workflows to better serve key stakeholders
