About The Position

Public Storage is seeking a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to work independently across multiple locations. This role involves assessing customer storage needs, selling packing and moving supplies, and conducting daily storage unit inspections to ensure inventory and availability. Key responsibilities also include auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and managing customer accounts, including reminder and collection calls. The position requires spending time both inside and outside facilities, performing cleaning and daily maintenance tasks such as sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds and curb appeal.

Requirements

Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies
Valid driver’s license
Utilize own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business

Responsibilities

Work independently at multiple locations
Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies
Perform daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability
Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits
Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required
Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks: including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintain exterior grounds/curb appeal clean and free of debris
