About The Position

Public Storage is the self-storage industry leader. This role involves working independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside. Property Managers assess customer storage needs, make suggestions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Daily tasks include storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and managing customer payments, including reminder and collection calls.

Requirements

• Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies
• Valid driver’s license
• Utilize own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business

Responsibilities

• Work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside
• Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies
• Perform daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability
• Ensure spaces are ready to rent
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits
• Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required
• Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal clean and free of debris
