About The Position

Public Storage is the self-storage industry leader and is hiring for a Self Storage Manager. This role involves working independently at multiple locations, assessing customer storage needs, and making suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies. Daily storage unit inspections are required to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent. The position also includes auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and managing customer accounts by making reminder and collection calls when necessary. Property Managers spend time both inside and outside the facilities, performing cleaning and daily maintenance tasks such as sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal.

Requirements

Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies
Valid driver’s license
Utilize own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business
Ability to transport lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds
Ability to walk in/around facilities spending up to 50% of their time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors
