About The Position

Comporium is a diversified communications company providing a Quintuple Play of five services -- voice, video, data, wireless and security -- at the retail level; as well as, providing security monitoring and media services for its industry customers. Under this concept, the Comporium Group is uniquely positioned to offer customers a one-stop-shopping for all their communications needs. This role functions in multiple capacities, providing efficient, courteous, and exceptional customer service in both Retail and Customer Contact Center environments. The representative is expected to maintain strong knowledge of all products, pricing plans, promotions, and service features, and to meet or exceed all sales objectives. Key aspects include educating and engaging customers through product demonstrations, handling all administrative aspects of sales, and being able to explain customer bills and answer billing and service-related questions.

Requirements

  • High School Education or Equivalent
  • 1-2 years customer service and sales preferred
  • Excellent computer, oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel and lift up to 15 lbs.
  • Able to function in fast-paced, changing environment and work under stress during high customer volume.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries when working Retail and/or Customer Contact Center in a timely and professional manner to ensure customer needs are addressed in a satisfactory manner. Performance is measured by meeting and/or exceeding coaching scores.
  • Meet or exceed Sales Goals.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of all Comporium products, plans, promotions, services and operating systems.
  • Perform as a team player that builds sustainable relationships and trust with both internal and external customers through open and interactive communication.
  • Support Enterprise goals and objectives.
  • Effectively function in multiple roles that support the overall performance of the business. Including, but not limited to taking payments, taking phone calls, entering service orders accurately and handling equipment.
  • Keep Team Supervisor informed of items requiring immediate attention for the benefit of customers and co-workers.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
