About The Position

We are seeking an individual with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to grow on our team as a Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative! This position is excellent for the skilled multi-tasker who loves challenging their personal best by excelling quickly and efficiently responding to customer needs both by email and phone. This is a busy office with limited face-to-face customers but plenty of customer interaction. Mid-Am Building Supply is the premier wholesale distributor of building products to America's Heartland. Through our four strategically located warehouses we offer quick and easy access to our inventory of over $35,000,000 of roofing, siding, insulation, windows, fasteners, cabinets, moldings, locks and interior and exterior door products. We are part of a powerful group of companies with a network of over 86 distribution centers spanning North America. Requirements

Understanding of and the ability to work with our sales catalog.
Must be able to work with customers and the general public effectively and courteously.
Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
Communication, Oral - Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.
Communication, Written - Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
Problem Solving - Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Knowledge of specialty building material product lines.
Computer Skills.
Highly experienced Microsoft Office user; and, demonstrated adaptability with other company integrated systems.
Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
Must be willing to work outside of normal business hours to meet the customer’s needs.
Bachelor's Degree (four year college or university). May substitute experience for education.
