About The Position

Training for this role is a hybrid work setting. This role is a remote position but candidates must be available/able to commute to a local branch facility if there are internet outages, power loss, and to attend additional trainings as needed. Candidates must be able to work PST time zone hours 8:00am-5:00pm. The Customer Service Representative will provide exceptional customer service, answer inquiries, process payments and other sale day activities. Customer Service Representatives embody our "team player" values, by providing an outstanding customer experience both in person and through our various communication channels to help IAA focus on business and branch growth. What Do IAA Customer Service Reps Do? Provide a variety of customer support services through the mail, telephone, and direct personal contact Process orders and assignments and enter data into our internal computer systems Reference pricing and delivery information Respond to customer questions, inquiries, and requests Set up new and maintain existing records Perform word processing assignments, filing, and related clerical duties Process paperwork in preparation for auction day, securing necessary approvals Assist with other duties around the office to help out

  • 0-2 years’ previous work experience
  • Previous work experience where you worked in-person with customers.
  • Experience using computers, and able to learn to use new technology and software.
  • Excellent keyboarding skills for data entry.
  • A commitment to providing fantastic customer service.
  • Able to work well and maintain a positive attitude in high-pressure situations.
  • A friendly, outgoing, patient personality.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for organizing all keys / organizing and filing documents by our internal coding system and then again by Lot number once we go to Lot.
  • Uploading documents to the web each sale.
  • Actively communicate with many different departments and or team’s and customers who sign up equipment when needing documents such as LOLC’s, Purge Documents etc.
  • Responsible for processing payments from successful bidders
  • Provide customers with information about auxiliary services.
  • Ensure that superior customer service is always delivered to all customers.
  • Actively support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: to send everyone home, every day, the way they came to work, by taking personal responsibility for your safety and safety of your team, co-workers and customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
