About The Position

Heating Solutions Sales Company (HSSC) is a complete sales and support company that represents some of North America’s leading boiler brands: US Boiler, New Yorker Boiler, Governale Radiation, Burnham Commercial Boilers, Thermal Solutions Boilers, and Bryan Steam boilers. We are currently launching world-leading technologies into the growing condensing boiler markets with a goal of delivering quality comfort to residential households and commercial buildings across North America. We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team! This position will support the sales function by professionally interfacing with salespeople, reps, wholesalers, OEMs, customers and Company personnel to insure high levels of overall customer satisfaction within the boundaries of Heating Solutions Sales Company. This is a full-time, non-exempt position located in Peru, Indiana. Hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or customer service environment preferred
  • Experience in Microsoft Word & Excel preferred

Responsibilities

  • Must be a team player with good time management skills and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a solid communicator through telephone, email and conference calls
  • Processes orders for material or merchandise from customers and internal personnel. Submitting these orders to the shop for production
  • Responsible for handling emails and telephone calls from customers and salespeople and ensures all incoming questions and complaints are given proper attention and professionally resolved
  • Ensures correct pricing and multipliers are applied to all orders entered into the system
  • Attends weekly production meetings in-person
  • Communicates with factory personnel to obtain answers on delivery, and order status
  • Create Installation & Operation manuals and send them to Rep
  • Assist sales reps and customers with order planning, shipment scheduling and other various customer transactions
  • Develop relationships with customers and salespeople/representatives
  • Rep/Customer Visits – Occasionally coordinate visits to include reserve hotel rooms, lunch, dinner reservations, materials, etc.
  • Assist other customer support staff as required.
  • General office duties include but not limited to filing, copying, answering general phone calls etc.
