Job Summary: Acts as liaison between customer, sales and/or production departments. Receives customer print inquiries concerning prospective, current, and past orders. Maintains daily update of production schedule and keeps customer informed about status of their job.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training in print processes; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong skills in work planning, scheduling and must have good judgment of color, design and print quality.
  • Must be reliable, responsible and take direction well
  • Employee must be able to see and hear, read and write.
  • Requires adaptability, analyzing, assessing, calculating, decision making, dependability, judgment, reading, speaking, following direction, handling multiple priorities and reasoning.

Responsibilities

  • Interacts with customers by phone, online chat, email or in person about printing requirements and collects production print specifications for printing job.
  • Fills out pre-production order specification information, detailing parameters of print job.
  • Coordinates the preparation of all written quotes and proposals.
  • Maintains daily update of production schedule, noting any deviations.
  • Handles phone inquiries for job status, estimates, orders, changes and complaints.
  • Keeps salesperson informed about job status and problems.
  • Provides customer with shipment confirmation.
  • Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.
  • Carries out conduct and responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures, safety, and applicable laws.
  • Other duties as assigned
