About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials, operating over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. The Customer Service Representative will proactively contact customers in an assigned geographical territory to request waste pick-up and/or deliver products. Additionally, they will receive calls from clients and Sales Representatives to provide requested services.

  • Oral and written communication with our customers, sales team, within the depart as well as with other departments is a must

Responsibilities

  • In a proactive manner, contact all customers in an assigned geographical territory to request a pick-up of waste and/or to deliver a product.
  • Receive calls from clients and Sales Representatives to provide service as requested.
  • Coordinate, communicate and facilitate transportation with GRR personnel, Customers and Transporters in a proactive and timely manner.
  • Create required paperwork necessary for shipments including quote letters and accurate pricing and fees.
  • Manage all calls received from assigned clients, internal co-workers, Managers, and Sales Representatives to address such issues as special arrangements and/or coordination, billing, compliance, transportation, and credit collection.
  • Work closely with assigned sales representatives / managers on a daily basis, creating a team concept that fosters communication that insures we meet and exceed our customer's expectations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Enviro Ware to prepare quotes, updates, and other communication both internally and to the assigned customers.
  • Have a positive attitude that fosters a winning culture.
  • Oral and written communication with our customers, sales team, within the depart as well as with other departments is a must.
