About The Position

Under immediate to close supervision, serves internal/external customers by providing product and service information, and resolving product and service problems. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Availability is also requested for holiday as need it.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
1 – 3 years Customer Service experience.
Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above.
Ability and desire to learn.
Ability to balance conflict and stay calm in stressful situations.
Ability to multi-task effectively, listen effectively, and have solid general business knowledge.
Proven computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, SAP preferred)
Ability to operate standard office equipment (fax, copier).

Nice To Haves

Experience with a food manufacturer / marketer preferred.
Successful completion of Customer Service Certification Program during the first 18 months of employment

Responsibilities

Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
Builds positive relationships with co-workers, management, internal & external customers.
Maintains financial accounts by processing customer credit requests expediently.
Updates and maintains order & complaint logs.
Maintains customer records by updating account information as necessary.
Processes orders successfully
Communicates effectively with internal / external customers in person, on the phone, and through email.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Performs standard tasks using established methods, principles, concepts & procedures.
Minor judgments are made.
Performs other duties as required.
