Operating in nine states with nineteen locations throughout the mid-western, southern, and eastern United States, we utilize state of the art equipment and employ the newest techniques allowing us to offer advancement opportunities in a continually growing Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) landscape. Job Overview: Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling the input of daily sales orders and following up on all customer inquiries. In conjunction with our sales and estimating team, the Customer Service Representative will help address any new customer or vendor concerns and ensure proper set-up and processing of initial orders. Key Responsibilities: Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the business's operational processes and components. The description of responsibilities is not exhaustive. There will be additional duties assigned per company and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of order fulfillment procedures and administrative record-keeping.
  • Skilled in managing multiple tasks simultaneously with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A high focus on customer satisfaction and delivering exceptional service by understanding customer needs, anticipating their challenges, and proactively offering solutions to ensure a positive experience.
  • Able to work independently, self-motivated, sets daily goals, and manages time effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Intermediate level computer skills i.e., Word and Excel.
  • Ability to type 35+ wpm.

  • Manufacturing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Processing Customer Purchase Orders / Order Entry.
  • Process both types of customer requests, expedite and deferral.
  • Support Outside Sales Representatives.
  • Acknowledge incoming purchase orders.
  • Keep track of order due dates for customer awareness.
  • Maintain excellent communication with customers.
  • Follow up with all orders to ensure they are processed on time.
  • Answer incoming phone calls.
  • Support continuous improvement and quality objectives.
  • Follow safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Actively participant with the VAC vision, mission, and values. Integrate each by aligning performance goals and business initiatives to ensure objectives are achieved.
