About The Position

The Customer Service Representative interacts with customers by answering product and service questions, and suggests information about other products and services. Process orders, prepare correspondences, and fulfill customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will strive to make a positive impact on customers by developing relationships through exceptional care, positive communication and a genuine interest in our team and clients we serve. Entry-level position with limited prior training or relevant work experience. Has basic skills to perform routine tasks. Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures. Works with either close supervision or under clearly defined procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• 1-3 years experience or related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A pleasant, enthusiastic, well-spoken individual with a flawless dedication to providing excellent customer service.
• Applies basic skills to perform simple activities.
• Understands how the assigned duties relate to others in the team and how the team integrates with others.
• Uses standard operating procedures to guide own work and solve standard problems.
• Uses communication skills to exchange information.
• Use assigned methods, tools and processes.
• Support sharing of best practices.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds at times.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for processing and expediting customer orders and quotes via phone, fax, or email.
• Provides assistance with technical support.
• Supports Quality Control with customer returns and complaints.
• Perform routine customer service tasks.
• Scans customer orders and ship prints using.
• Informs customers of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays and any additional information needed by the customer.
• Checks inventory control file for available stock to fill or manufacture orders.
• Solicits sale of new or additional merchandise.
• Computes price, discount and delivery date.
• Records special types of shipping, packing or labeling required by customer order.
• Computes price, discount, and delivery date.
• Other duties as assigned.
