About The Position

Nextep’s Customer Service Specialists are dedicated to providing exceptional service to clients by finding answers to their questions through calls, emails, or chats. The role is dynamic, with no 'typical day,' and involves a wide range of tasks from addressing client inquiries about benefits to navigating system processes related to payroll, HR, and other areas. Customer service specialists also support the benefits, payroll, and HR teams by responding to client employee communications. A significant portion of the role is focused on assisting clients, answering their questions, and identifying effective solutions.

  • Two years of customer service experience
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Exhibit a high level of problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Serve clients by finding answers to their questions when they call, email, or chat with us
  • Assist with the maintenance and optimization of internal systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide support to benefits, payroll, and HR teams by responding to client employee calls, emails, and chats
  • Help clients, answering questions, and finding solutions
  • Respond to inquiries and requests from clients and internal stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
