About The Position

Nextep’s Customer Service Specialists are dedicated to providing excellent service to clients by finding answers to their questions via phone, email, or chat. The role involves a dynamic environment where specialists handle a variety of inquiries, ranging from benefits to payroll and HR-related system processes. One minute you could be answering client questions about benefits and the next you are working through system processes relating to payroll, HR and so much more! They also assist with the maintenance and optimization of internal systems to improve efficiency. Requirements

  • Have a knack for customer service
  • Two years of customer service experience
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Exhibit a high level of problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to quality and client satisfaction
  • Love to work with people
  • Don’t stop until the problem is solved
  • Reliable and timely

Responsibilities

  • Serve clients by finding answers to their questions when they call, email, or chat with us
  • Work through system processes relating to payroll, HR and so much more
  • Assist with the maintenance and optimization of internal systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide support to benefits, payroll, and HR teams by responding to client employee calls, emails, and chats
  • Respond to inquiries and requests from clients and internal stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
