About The Position

The Customer Service Representative serves as a liaison between Steinwall and its customers. This position is responsible for receiving and entering customer purchase orders and forecasts into Steinwall’s ERP system, tracking orders through the system, and ensuring timely product delivery. The Customer Service Representative builds and maintains strong customer relationships and communicates effectively with both internal teams and external customers to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. This role also involves communicating customer requests and demand changes to internal departments, monitoring order progress and providing updates, initiating and monitoring projects to meet customer expectations, and initiating quotes for new projects or repricing. Additionally, the representative manages accounts receivables by contacting customers for past due payments, supports order prioritization by informing the production scheduler of customer needs, and acts as a strong advocate for the customer to ensure high satisfaction and foster long-term relationships. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records and documentation is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree with emphasis in communications, business, or other related field, or 4-6 years customer service experience

  • Previous experience with an ERP system (IQMS a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Enters purchase orders, sales forecasts, and stocking agreements into ERP system
  • Communicates customer requests, requirements, and demand changes to the appropriate internal departments
  • Monitors order progress and proactively communicates updates, delays, or changes to customers
  • Initiates and monitors projects to ensure customers’ expectations are being met
  • Initiates quotes for new projects or repricing events
  • Manages accounts receivables by contacting customers when payments are past due
  • Supports order prioritization by communicating customer needs to the production scheduler
  • Serves as a strong advocate for the customer, ensuring high levels of satisfaction while building and maintaining positive, long-term relationships
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date customer records and documentation
