About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for our clients. In this role, you will manage customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience for all AVW customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or service-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the waste management industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints with empathy and professionalism.
  • Process service requests and coordinate with internal teams to fulfill customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Provide information about AVW’s services, policies, and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional services to existing customers.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex customer issues.
