About The Position

Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas, Inc is looking to hire a dedicated Customer Service Representative who will be a main point of contact for our clients. This role involves addressing inquiries related to inventory, shipping status, and issue resolution, all while ensuring exceptional customer service. The Customer Service Representative must have exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to understand the unique needs of our B2B clients. This position is located at the headquarters in Costa Mesa, California.

  • Intermediate proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word)

  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in customer service order processing.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process telephone, email and fax orders.
  • Check stock, locate inventory, verify credit approval, invoice dealer warehouse orders.
  • Process container and consignment orders.
  • Monitor and process back orders.
  • Process inventory returns.
  • Provide order status information for dealer and Toyo Sales personnel inquiries.
  • Track and trace shipments.
  • Monitor and advise dealers of container order status, special promotions, discontinued inventory and sales program deadlines.
  • Process billing corrections.
  • Respond to dealer inquiries and resolve dealer complaints to the extent authorized within the customer service department.
  • Pricing code entry in computer and code maintenance for all dealers in assigned areas.
  • Regular communication with appropriate Regional Sales Managers to report daily order receipts, shipping schedules, dealer inquiries or complaints and problem solving.
  • Inventory production recommendations and warehouse transfer requests.
  • Process Federal Excise Tax and city, county and state commission credits and other credit memos.
  • Maintain dealer order files and current pricing files.
  • Answer questions and provide additional information and sales history reports to dealers and Toyo management as required.
  • Other duties as assigned
