Enters and processes orders, researches customer issues, prepares correspondence, and fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to sit.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Enters and processes sales orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reviews pricing on orders to ensure alignment with quotes and pricing policies.
  • Receives, addresses, resolves, and responds to customer complaints, inquiries, and interactions in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates with Sales team, as well as Production Control, Shipping, and Materials to ensure customer needs and requirements are met.
  • Escalates issues to appropriate resource as needed.
  • Preemptively identifies issues and suggests ways to solve.
  • Contributes to continuous improvement projects within Production Control and Sales.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
