About The Position

The Customer Service Rep I ensures customer satisfaction by answering product and delivery questions and suggesting information about other products. Processes orders, prepares correspondence, tracks customer orders, and works to resolve any delivery issues.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of effective customer support experience
  • Strong phone skills
  • Dynamic active listening skills
  • Impassioned customer satisfaction focus
  • Solid ability to effectively adapt and respond to different types of situations
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently

Nice To Haves

  • Customer support experience in a wholesale redistribution environment
  • Familiarity with Eclipse (AS400)/Solar (Window based) system

Responsibilities

  • Builds sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
  • Meets call handling and order entry quotas
  • Handles complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives
  • Keeps records and track the pricing for customers a
  • Reviews Deduction Lists, Credit Report, and Pricing Over-Ride Report
  • Communicates with Warehouse Managers on late, large and/or add on of orders
  • Works closely with other Customer Service Reps to encourage a teamwork environment
  • Expedites Reports (back orders/open orders)
  • Tracks status of products and stock requests with Purchasing team
