Requirements

  • Associates degree in related field preferred
  • 2 years experience in related field
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional phone demeanor
  • Expert degree of proficiency in MS Word and Excel, with working knowledge of Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Self-starter
  • Works well under pressure and deadlines and maintains a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to function in a rapidly changing environment

Responsibilities

  • Prepares invoicing from bills of lading, ensuring accurate pricing.
  • Inputs data from invoices into computer system.
  • Files paperwork related to bills of lading and invoices.
  • Ensures that correct product codes are used for inputting and retrieving information from computer system.
  • Cash Application to customer accounts:- Daily prepay application- Weekly prepay application detail reports to customers- Completes payment reconciliation
  • Processes and files monthly customer statements.
  • Monthly accounts receivable reconciliation for past due invoices.
  • Works closely with credit department concerning credit status of customers’ terms.
  • Works closely with sales representative to resolve account issues.
  • Assists customers with invoices/accounts.
  • Provides reports (account aging, application detail, sales and history) as appropriate to customers, sales representative and Company management.
  • Achieves and maintains professional rapport with customers and sales representatives to provide the best possible, cost effective customer service.
  • Maintains customer specific pricing matrix, keeping up-to-date with all product programs in effect.
  • Assists warehouse personnel (shipping and receiving) in coordinating shipments to maximize freight savings and expediting delivery of product.
  • Other duties as assigned.
