About The Position

The Customer Service Representative working in Sanford Maverick Air Center will be responsible for greeting customers, answering the telephone, and handling incoming fuel requests. This role involves demonstrating and upholding Maverick Air Center's high standard of quality in workmanship and customer service, creating an environment where customers feel appreciated, and acknowledging all pilots and customers upon entering or leaving the facility. Duties include directing incoming calls, handling customer requests, ensuring ramp access security, coordinating line service calls, computer invoicing of front desk items, closing service orders with various payment methods, understanding Maverick Air Center's discounts and pricing, verifying point-of-sale system information, handling fuel requests via internet, phone, and Unicom, calling out service requests, answering radio calls from line service, procuring rental cars, transportation, hotel accommodations, and catering for pilots, flight crews, and customers. The representative will also set up new accounts, maintain records and reports, perform other clerical duties, update fuel price changes, conduct fuel balancing and reconciliation of fuel sales and truck sheets, handle cash, and maintain a professional, clean working environment and appearance. Additional duties include assisting with the maintenance of the lobby, conference room, hallways, restrooms, and pilot lounge appearance, ensuring supplies are stocked, and providing courtesy coffee, tea, and ice water. The role may also involve assisting customers with baggage and pulling up rental and courtesy cars.

Requirements

  • Procure rental cars and other transportation needs, hotel accommodations and catering for pilots, flight crews and customers
  • Set up new accounts
  • Maintain records and reports and other clerical duties
  • Update fuel price changes
  • Fuel balancing and reconciliation of fuel sales and truck sheets from previous day
  • Cash handling
  • Maintain a professional clean working environment to include; professional appearance and attitude
  • Assist the Line maintaining the lobby, conference room and hallways appearance, this may include vacuuming, mopping, cleaning windows, dust and wipe down counters as needed
  • Check all restrooms during each shift to ensure supplies are stocked and cleaned
  • Check pilot lounge for cleanliness
  • Ensure courtesy coffee, tea, and ice water are available at all times
  • Assist customers with baggage and pulling up rental and courtesy cars
  • Making car/hotel reservations
