The Ideal CSR candidate will practice professional personal and telephone etiquette in a warehouse office. This position will primarily support our Sales Department as a liaison between multiple departments to ensure thorough and quality service is provided to our customers Other general office duties may be assigned. As a leading food service distributor serving Ohio and beyond, we take pride in providing high-quality produce, specialty items, and outstanding service to our customers. In this role, you will primarily support our Sales Department while collaborating across multiple teams to ensure our customers receive seamless service.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • managing multiple deadlines and timely reporting
  • Excellent time management will be necessary for your success as multiple tasks must be completed in a frequently re-directed work environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is important as customers’ needs and communication are key in this role
  • High school diploma / GED
  • Reliable transportation (this is NOT a work from home position)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong time management skills in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Administration / customer service experience preferred
  • Prior experience in customer service or administration (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily order reviews to verify accuracy in delivery dates and order requirements
  • Generate reports to monitor product availability and distribution
  • Maintain up-to-date client records and inform customers about product availability
  • Assist customers with order entry and manage accounts efficiently
  • Facilitate communication of new customer details between departments
  • Gain product knowledge and become proficient in our ERP system for order processing
  • Handle customer credits and assist with special projects as needed
  • Manage multiple deadlines while providing timely reporting
  • Answering customer calls
  • Entering orders / credits
  • Maintain accurate client information
  • Keep customers informed on product availability
  • Review deliveries to ensure routes stay on schedule
  • Communicate with drivers to provide special delivery instructions/updates
  • Relay information between departments
  • Learn products and ERP system for assistance with processing orders
