About The Position

As a Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Kniesel’s Collision, you will be the face of the shop—greeting customers, answering questions, and guiding them through the collision repair process from start to finish. You’ll act as a liaison between customers, estimators, and technicians to ensure every repair experience is seamless, transparent, and professional. Our customer service representatives (CSRs) exemplify Kniesel’s core values: family, integrity, and excellence. Through clear communication and compassionate service, you’ll ensure customers feel confident, informed, and well taken care of throughout the repair journey.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in automotive, insurance, or service industries.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new software tools.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and solutions-oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with collision repair management systems such as Nexsyis or CCC1 is a plus.
  • Familiarity with automotive repair processes or insurance claims is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers with professionalism and warmth in person, by phone, and via email.
  • Enter and maintain accurate customer and vehicle information in Nexsyis or related systems.
  • Open and maintain customer files and repair orders.
  • Schedule repair estimates, drop-offs, and deliveries in coordination with estimators and production teams.
  • Communicate with our centralized call center to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Guide customers through drop-off procedures and obtain required repair authorizations.
  • Coordinate rental car arrangements and insurance approvals as needed.
  • Collect payments, finalize paperwork, and ensure accurate documentation is completed.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and courteously.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and maintaining a clean and organized front office.
