About The Position

Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH), located in Marshfield, MO, is seeking a Customer Service Representative; Receptionist to join their Mt. Vernon Clinic. The mission of Ozarks Community Hospital and clinics is to provide exceptional healthcare and preventive services to all patients with compassion, respect, and dignity, focusing on care for the underserved and improving access to care. This role, under the direction of the Clinic Manager, provides direct and indirect patient assistance and care in office/clinic settings. The position also involves assisting in the development and orientation of new office/clinic staff, coordinating activities, helping with work schedules, improving workflow, and keeping providers informed of progress and potential problems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, third party payors
• Successful work experience in a front office setting or in another clerical position
• Strong working knowledge of office procedures and basic accounting principles
• Ability to effectively use and maintain office equipment
• Great organizational and multitasking abilities

Nice To Haves

• BLS or Friends and Family certification preferred

Responsibilities
