About The Position

We currently have a great opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join our Commercial Division in Missoula, Montana. This role works directly with Commercial clients to ensure excellent customer service while accurately processing motor vehicle transactions and meeting strict client deadlines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment. The Customer Service Commercial Agent works directly with Commercial clients and vendors to ensure customer satisfaction and timely processing of transactions. This position requires strong data entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict deadlines while complying with all MVD policies, procedures, and regulations. The role involves handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and care.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Ability to successfully pass a motor vehicle record review
  • Availability to work Monday–Saturday between 7:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Professional demeanor at all times
  • Accurate and efficient computer skills using Windows-based applications
  • Typing speed of at least 45 WPM
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent telephone and email etiquette
  • Solid organizational, documentation, and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities
  • Data entry proficiency with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
  • Ability to work effectively in a structured team environment
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with Commercial vendors and clients to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Support account management activities and maintain strong client relationships
  • Meet and exceed all client deadlines
  • Perform basic motor vehicle transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide clear, professional verbal and written communication
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer and client information
  • Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Ensure exceptional telephone etiquette at all times
  • Maintain a balanced cash drawer
  • Work effectively in a structured, team-oriented environment
  • Communicate with Commercial clients via phone, email, letter, or in person in a professional manner
  • Maintain title processing proficiency
  • Assist other Commercial offices during high-volume periods to meet client deadlines, as needed
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
