About The Position

Our Customer Service Representative for Dealers handles all communications with dealers and distributors to provide a complete customer experience with a single point of contact. Communications include customer applications to the Dealer program, purchase orders, inquiries on orders and products, and return material authorizations. You will have a strong command of the company’s customer service policies and be well trained in services and product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with others
  • Demonstrate good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience working in large enterprise computer systems.
  • Basic PC competency including Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe PDF and effective internet use.
  • Ability to understand and learn company terminology.
  • Patience in stressful situations.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service or inside sales.
  • High school diploma/GED required.

Responsibilities

  • Email and phone communication with the Apex Dealer and Distributor customer group.
  • Input Dealer and Distributor purchase orders to the primary computer system in compliance with company policy.
  • Assist Zero Minimum Dealer with their orders in company web store, as needed.
  • Respond to new dealer inquiries and handle administrative task of new dealer setup.
  • Maintain Dealer pricing database in primary company computer system.
  • Process Dealer requests for return material authorizations in compliance with company policy and dealer contracts.
  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with customers and working to establish a positive rapport with every customer interaction.
  • Work with management to stay updated on product knowledge and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain inter-departmental communication with other customer service representatives, shipping, and management.
  • Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars as needed.
  • Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
