About The Position

Temp Staff Management Group is seeking a reliable and professional Customer Service Representative for their client in Avenel, NJ. This role is responsible for supporting daily logistics and communication operations, coordinating and liaising with customers, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams to ensure shipment readiness and accurate delivery scheduling. The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish and English, possesses strong communication and computer skills, and can adapt to a dynamic work environment while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • MUST be bilingual - English and Spanish
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer systems
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
  • Ability to handle change and ambiguity in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong attention to confidentiality and professionalism

Nice To Haves

  • 3 –5 years of experience in a similar role preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and liaise with customers, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams regarding shipment readiness and delivery schedules
  • Communicate shipment status updates and respond to customer inquiries
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication records
  • Utilize computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel to support daily operations
