Join PALFINGER as our Spare Parts Customer Service Representative. This is a customer-facing role at the center of our parts and service operations and partners closely withalers, service teams, and vendors to resolve inquiries, manage ors, and support production needs with accuracy and urgency. Based in Huntley, IL and reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this role is al for someone who thrives on problem-solving, communication, andlivering excellent customer support.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years' experience in an industrial product's spare parts sales environment.
  • Diploma/certification in a technical field or Customer Service preferred.
  • Knowledge and urstanding of spare parts operations withinaler parts and servicepartment levels.
  • Customer service mindset to prov the best available solutions and to effectively communicate withaler staff through questions and concerns.

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical experience/knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone calls, e-mails, fax, and walk-in customers regarding price and availability and advise customers on substitution parts as ned.
  • Ensure proper entry of received customer ors to confirm all requiredtail is present at time of or acceptance and communicate additional requirements toalers when/where necessary.
  • Provalers with latest partslivery status and shipping information and expedite back-ored parts.
  • Work with Service/Shop Manager/Vendors for required production support and prov parts application diagrams and photos when necessary.
  • Exhibit basic knowledge of warranty policies.
