About The Position

We are offering a rewarding career opportunity to a customer driven professional willing to work hard to satisfy our clients. Our Dispatch Specialist will be responsible for optimizing daily routes and forecast scheduling, assist customers by answering their calls and prioritizing unscheduled emergency work. In addition the Dispatch Specialist will be responsible for making a high volume of outbound calls to schedule preventative maintenance work. Responsibilities include establishing customer needs, responding promptly, efficiently scheduling all work, updating job files and communicating to the appropriate parties. We are a rapidly growing HVAC business that is looking for a self-driven and motivated individual to join our expanding team! Requirements

  • Previous dispatch experience, preferably in the HVAC industry
  • Computer skills and data entry skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with associates, superiors, vendors, and customers
  • The ability to multi-task in an ever-changing environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to time manage efficiently
  • Must have high school diploma, GED or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to time manage efficiently
  • Some college preferred
  • Experience with schedule management software systems
  • Two years experience in customer service related position

Responsibilities

  • Optimize routes and maintain daily schedule board, including forecast scheduling
  • Prioritize all emergency and unscheduled work
  • Classify the customer’s needs
  • Select technicians to respond to work request based on ability, customer preference, and proximity
  • Schedule and notify technicians of work order assignments through software
  • Cooperate and work with other service team members to enhance the customer’s experience
  • Maintain work orders and related information in our database software systems
  • Support service technicians as needed
