The Customer Service Representative position involves providing prompt, excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly, and attentive manner. This includes greeting customers, offering assistance and suggestions, accurately ringing up sales, and handling various payment types and multi-function operations like fuel consoles and lottery machines. The role also requires maintaining the store's cleanliness and equipment to company standards, performing general housekeeping, inspecting facilities for safety, and notifying the Store Manager of any issues. Merchandising duties include ordering, verifying deliveries, stocking, rotating stock, and placing signage. The representative is responsible for sales controls, assisting with inventory levels and shift audits, and maintaining accurate financial records. Security controls involve reporting all incidents such as injuries, theft, or property damage. Administrative tasks include keeping accurate shift and timekeeping paperwork, potentially taking inventory, attending job-related meetings, and providing regular onsite attendance.
