Position Summary: As a Customer Service Representative for Pentagon, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with Customers, Engineering, Quality, Production and Sales. You will primarily be focused on documenting and communicating order processing details and other date sensitive needs and issues within the company and with customers. You will serve as the voice between the customer and Pentagon Technologies, with the main objective of providing excellent customer service and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Must have the ability to speak, read and write in English; additional languages a plus.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of customer service-related experience in a business office setting or completed business college courses, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in email, word processing, and spreadsheet functionality.
  • Have clear verbal and written communication skills. Email traffic can be high and must be able to organize and prioritize.
  • Superb phone personality and ability to act professionally with respect and empathy.
  • Must possess the abilities to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred work experience in the Semiconductor Industry.

Responsibilities

  • Handling all communications between the customer and Pentagon Technologies. This includes emails, phone and teleconference calls.
  • Must be willing to attend customer on site meetings.
  • The scope includes requesting work to be performed, expediting requests, acting as an intermediary between customer and engineering on processing issues, and handling all account updates such as expedite fees.
  • Understand and follow operating procedures as assigned to the department to assure consistent, reliable and timely responses to customer inquiries and/or issues.
  • Attend daily site level meetings, production planning and customer escalations to ensure quality customer service.
  • Perform customer service representative duties and respond to customer inquiries on a regular basis.
  • Become well versed with customer portals and expectations.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Customer Service Manager and the Director of Operations.
