About The Position

Midstream Transportation in Center, TX is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive LPG Freight Biller & Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring timely and accurate billing of LPG freight invoices, resolving customer inquiries, and maintaining clear communication with drivers and our internal team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable with multi-tasking, and has strong communication skills in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently
  • Proficient with computer skills and the ability to learn and use current and new software
  • Must be proficient with the current Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and utilize different software
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 1+ years experience in transportation or logistics industry a plus
  • Prior billing, invoicing, or administrative experience preferred
  • Must pass pre-employment screening and background check
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds as needed in order to safely assist with duties around the plant
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, using a phone, and working on a computer

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the oil and propane industry (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Process and submit invoices for LPG freight loads delivered by drivers
  • Transfer invoiced orders to driver settlements
  • Generate and send daily/weekly customer reports
  • Follow up on past due customer invoices and assist with collections
  • Communicate with customers regarding load-related questions or clarifications
  • Reach out to drivers for missing or incorrect paperwork
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing issues or questions
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of billing information and documentation
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
