Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the healthcare or wellness industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and empathetic demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and appointment scheduling software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and company policies.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently using clinic management software.
  • Obtain and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history.
  • Provide detailed information about clinic services, treatment options, and policies to prospective and current patients.
  • Assist patients with billing questions, processing payments, and insurance claims follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Coordinate communication between patients, therapists, and other clinic staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional patient care.
