Benefits begin the month following the hire date. Salary: The hourly wage for this position ranges from $21.80 - $24.50 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset. Summary: The Customer Service Representative is responsible for engaging with customers on behalf of their company. Their duties include answering phone calls or emails from customers to answer questions, participating in meetings with the customer service team to discover new communication tactics and maintaining expert knowledge about company products or services to best help customers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree in Business or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of previous customer service experience, preferably in manufacturing and/or installation/maintenance/repair environment.
  • Ticketing system experience, a plus.
  • ERP experience, a plus, including quoting, order entry, and returns.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Providing introductory information to new customers
  • Ensuring that customers are satisfied with products or services
  • Following up with clients or customers to check that they’re still satisfied with any purchases
  • Letting customers or clients know about additional products or services
  • Determining the quickest, most effective ways to answer a client’s or customer’s questions
  • Escalating queries and concerns
  • Troubleshooting common issues with a product or service
  • Inputting of orders and discuss with production team required due dates
  • Follow up on changes to delivery date and communicate to production
  • Follow up with customers for whom payments are past due.
  • Keep an updated list of both AP and OTS.
