About The Position

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for processing orders in a timely manner and oversees the workflow of all order and blend processing, including preparation of reports, charts, and other statistics to support the sales department. This role will initiate and track orders to completion. The Customer Service Representative will also act as a liaison in handling and resolving complex customer requests or complaints. This role works with many different departments, therefore, the ability to work collaboratively and positively with multiple departments is required. It will be important to have the skills necessary to build connections with both internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal, written, listening and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, prioritization skills and follow through skills. Ability to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • 2+ years of similar experience in increasingly responsible roles.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Self-motivated and ability to remain focused in an open office space.
  • Ability to make calculations such as discounts, estimates, dimensional weight, and percentages.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook).
  • Ability to work overtime hours as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, transcribe, blend and process customer orders/requests. Special attention to accuracy and on time fulfillment required. Responsible for order success.
  • Maintain communication with sales, customers, and supervisor on any issues, inquires and/or correspondences.
  • Monitor and replenish stock of raw and finish goods to support prompt order turnaround.
  • Prioritize and coordinate with warehouses and transportation to ensure on time shipment.
  • Work with inventory control and grower services to ensure product availability.
  • Offer meaningful solutions, based on specified needs for customer requirements.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and calmy response to customers and co-workers.
  • Navigate between multiple database software.
  • Assisting with other duties as assigned.
