Service at the speed of science!! Does that sound like your kind of challenge? As a Customer Service Representative, you will deliver fast, accurate support in a high-stakes, high-tech environment. Be the bridge between our precision products and the people who rely on them every day. Customer order management (customer contact, timely order entry and processing, order confirmation, price maintenance, availability check of material), perform customer master data requests and maintenance within the LANXESS systems. Process customer inquiries regarding order status, shipment timing, etc. Assist Marketing and Sales with receivables and credit limit requests, Support sales (as requested) with maintenance of forecast. Identification of customer requirements and proactively suggest solutions, Responsible for receiving customer complaints and facilitating resolutions. Constant review of inventory and replenishment planning with Production Planner and track order status (internal / external), delivery time, and invoicing. Work in conjunction with third party logistics providers to troubleshoot any shipping problems as they occur. Work in conjunction with third party warehouse providers on any order fulfillment questions. This is a HYBRID role located in the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania office. The expectation is that the candidate will be able to be on site multiple days each week.
