About The Position

NuCara Home Medical is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative for our Coralville, IA location. Who We Are NuCara Home Medical is Central Iowa ' s leading independent provider of Home Respiratory and Home Medical Equipment. We are passionately committed to providing diverse pharmacy and other health care products and services, emphasizing excellence, innovation, and creativity for the benefit of our patients. The hours of the Coralville store are 9:00am to 5:30pm. What We Do Responsibilities include in person customer service, as well as answering phones, verifying insurance, ordering products, performing equipment set ups in store, communication with healthcare professionals and insurance billing. Drug test and criminal background check required. This position does require the ability to participate in a telephone-based on-call rotation, with some evening and weekend hours required. Who Should Apply Successful candidates must possess exceptional customer service skills, computer skills, and organizational skills. If you are new to customer service, but have a clean driving record and criminal history, are positive and upbeat, and are looking for an opportunity to enter the growing healthcare field this is a position you should definitely consider. Candidates must be able to follow directions, be detail-oriented, and have basic competencies using a smartphone, iPad, and desktop computer. Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
