As a Branch Consultant, you will provide expert guidance, support, and educating members on credit union products and services. Your role involves assessing member needs, recommending appropriate financial solutions, and ensuring a high level of member satisfaction. Identify members elevated Mortgage needs and refer to the Mortgage Department. Take applications, provide recommendations to loan structure, communicating approval/denial and preparing items for loan closing for recreational consumer loans. P roficiency process IRA transactions and clearly explain to members the features of the IRA products including Traditional, Roth and Health Savings Accounts including change of investments. Open member accounts, including checking, savings, and certificates of deposit (CDs) and offering full -family membership to new and existing members, and Business Accounts. Perform account maintenance tasks such as updating personal information and managing account inquiries for Rep Payees, Estates, Benefit and Memorial, Non-US Citizen, Guardianship and Conservator and Trust Accounts, and all Business Accounts. Educate and provide recommendations on ancillary products to members for loan protection. Proficiently process foreign and domestic wire transfers. Assist members in the lobby by efficiently processing a variety of financial transactions. Responsible for assisting members through a Visa application by communicating approval/denial and process balance transfers. Cross Sell Dupaco Products and services by engaging, identifying, and advocating for digital services by highlighting benefits, addressing potential concerns, and demonstrating how they can enhance the member’s experience to support the branch and organizational goals. Proactive outreach and outbound calls to members as assigned. Perform Money Makeovers and Credit History Lessons and identify opportunities to deepen the relationship with the member by offering products and services. Identify and refer potential leads for specialized services, such as Business Loans, Business Services, Dupaco Insurance Services, Dupaco Financial Services, etc. Assist with branch operations, as needed. Ensure adherence to all credit union regulations, policies, and compliance procedures and requirements. Utilize available resources and tools to detect and report suspicious activities and transactions. Participate in branch meetings and training sessions to stay current on Dupaco policies and products. Perform other duties as assigned.
