About The Position

Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Up to two (2) years’ experience in Customer Service.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • High level of written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Independent judgement and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Specialized training in Customer Service or Sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Open and maintain customer accounts by recording account information.
  • Process customers’ orders received by phone, email, fax, or e-commerce.
  • Provide clients with pricing information and availability of the product.
  • Review and analyze customer credit record to make sure customer is on good credit terms before orders are processed.
  • Work with Accounts Receivable to ensure customers on credit hold are paying their past-due orders before orders are released.
  • Invoice orders processed on the same date.
  • File all orders, invoices, and purchase orders.
  • Handle customer complaints and returns.
  • Maintain good communication with all departments involved in the process such as: sales, shipping, manufacturing, and accounting to ensure our customers receive the best customer Service.
  • Initiate customer complaints and reply to customer after investigation is complete.
  • Generate Return Materials Authorizations (RMA) for returned product.
  • Post Sales Batch invoices to allow accounting to generate the daily sales number for shareholders.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.
