About The Position

Tager Appliance Repair is a well-established, locally owned appliance-repair company with hundreds of 5-star reviews. We’re looking for a reliable, part-time Customer Service Representative to handle inbound calls and scheduling during our busiest morning hours. Schedule (Fixed) Sunday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM Total: ~22 hours per week Consistent schedule (not on-call) Pay $13–$15 per hour , based on experience Paid training Opportunity for small performance incentives Work Environment Office-based during training Potential work-from-home option after training for the right candidate Structured systems and clear expectations Respectful, no-drama workplace About Us Tager Appliance Repair is a family-owned company serving the Kansas City metro. As an appliance repair technician, you’ll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you’ll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work. You’ll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you’ll have to deal with people, too. Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems. Requirements

  • Ability to multitask and follow systems
  • Customer service or call-center experience preferred
  • Home-service experience is a plus, not required
