The Customer Service Representative will join the Customer Service Team, with the overall objective of meeting customer needs through order entry, problem resolution, and fostering collaborative teamwork with sales and warehouse departments. The ideal candidate is proactive, possesses creative problem-solving skills, desires to be part of a growing team, and navigates challenges with a growth mindset. Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong time and project management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Strong computer and data entry skills highly desired, including Microsoft Office
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service
  • A combination of face to face, remote and phone/email customer service experience required
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an office setting (for customer service)
  • Business to business (B2b) customer service experience
  • Construction, safety, or industrial supply experience

Responsibilities

  • Learn, navigate, and use Prophet 21 to provide customer service
  • Service both internal and external customers over the phone, via email, and in person
  • Resolve issues with customer orders in a tactful manner
  • Partner with the branch sales team to drive business
  • Assist with miscellaneous projects as needed
  • Cross-train and assist in other areas of the branch as needed
