About The Position

The Customer Service Associate handles receiving, investigating and responding to all customer inquiries via telephone or email professionally and helpfully.

Requirements

  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
  • Excellent communication skills, including grammar, voice, and diction.
  • Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous, and helpful).
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Basic computer and keyboard skills; MS Office knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Must be highly reliable and have excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.

Nice To Haves

  • MS Office knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound telephone requests (or email as directed) for assisting with service, product knowledge, and other related inquiries from customers
  • Perform outbound calls (Vendors, Service Providers, Grand Appliance & TV stores) as a follow-up to serve the customer needs
  • Maintain positive demeanor with internal/external customers and
  • Assist in resolving various issues or concerns, including prescreening and scheduling service calls
  • Research service history
  • Approve return authorizations, issue credits for damage and refunds for canceled orders
  • Keep workspace neat, organized, and free of debris
  • Complete all job assignments efficiently and effectively
