Customer Service Representative - Parts and Counter Sales
About The Position
We are currently hiring an experienced Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative for our Albany, NY location. This position services customers with information, product exchanges or repairs in a timely, helpful friendly manner. D&W Diesel, Inc. is an employee-owned, $125 million business with over 350 employees in 8 locations. D&W has 50 years of history as an aftermarket distributor of heavy-duty truck and off-road equipment parts, remanufacturing and distribution of diesel engine components, and industrial products. Requirements
- Experience with heavy duty parts and bulk equipment is a big plus
- Must have a technical aptitude with an ability to learn products
- Proficient in MS Office and other computer functions
- Experience with working in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional level of customer service
- Handle a large volume of inbound calls, emails and web orders related to heavy duty parts and service
- Work to establish business relationships with customers, able to speak the customer’s language
- Know how to access information on our products and stay up to date on product and industry changes
- Provide important communications link between customers and technicians
- Aid sales representatives with research of products, pricing availability and applications
