About The Position

The Customer Service Representative II serves an important role in the provision of home medical equipment, respiratory services, and medical supplies. This person obtains, shares, provides and processes order information from a variety of sources to facilitate patient access to needed home medical equipment, respiratory services and as required other home health services. The CSR II maintains order entry expertise and shares knowledge and provides guidance. The CSR II has the responsibility of providing patient and referral source education and instruction and processes orders in an office setting or in the retail setting. The CSR’s must maintain an awareness of insurance regulations, policies, and documentation guidelines and must be able to apply the regulations to create compliant orders and collect proper documentation to facilitate clean insurance claims. The CSR II must be accountable for the integrity of orders processed and works with the billing team to facilitate successful processing of denials and audits.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two (2) year minimum in retail, customer service, or medical related experience required
  • Experience with DME preferred
  • CSR Mastery Certification (will be obtained on the job)
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required
