About The Position

ChristianaCare General Surgery Services is seeking a Customer Service Specialist. ChristianaCare's experienced surgeons and care teams provide patients with confidence to undergo surgery and return to their lives quickly. ChristianaCare General Surgery Services at Wilmington is made up a group of extremely talented, dedicated, and kindhearted surgeons in a wide range of specialties. This practice specializes in treating patients in general surgery, bariatrics, orthopedics, sports medicine, and podiatry. General Surgery Services | ChristianaCare Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8am to 430pm, must be flexible. As a customer service specialist, you will demonstrate exceptional customer service skills by accurately responding to high volume calls, scheduling appointments, and handling phone notes. You will demonstrate sound judgement in escalating urgent calls and use computer tools like scheduling modules and EMRs. You must be able to multitask and handle calls appropriately, using CCHS HEAT methodology when service issues arise. You will be interacting with patients, physicians, and staff, providing accurate communication. You will perform assigned work safely, adhering to departmental safety rules, and report unsafe activities to the manager. Christiana Hospital, Newark, Delaware. Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED required
  • Computer and key boarding skill required
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
