About The Position

Vermeer All Roads in Charlotte, NC is searching for a customer-focused and organized Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support our parts and service operations. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and skilled at building strong customer relationships. Prior experience in heavy equipment, construction machinery, automotive, or industrial parts/service is preferred but not required. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible role.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Experience in equipment, automotive, construction, or industrial service/parts preferred
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and team-oriented approach
  • Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn internal systems
  • Reliable work history and strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in equipment, automotive, construction, or industrial service/parts preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with parts pricing, availability, and order processing
  • Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians and service leadership
  • Open, update, and close work orders and service tickets accurately
  • Provide timely communication regarding repairs, estimates, order status, and timelines
  • Maintain organized customer records and support front-office operations
  • Collaborate with parts, service, and shop teams to support daily workflow
  • Develop familiarity with Vermeer equipment and related products (training provided)
  • Deliver excellent customer service to support long-term customer relationships
  • Monitor daily customer service and sales activity to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Reinforce strong customer service habits, professionalism, and work ethic within the department
  • Assist leadership with onboarding and supporting new team members (non-supervisory)
  • Support sales and service teams with customer issues, order follow-ups, and communication
  • Help track and support departmental goals through accurate information and timely updates
  • All other duties as assigned
